Following your requests, we redesigned the SIBYL baseline. The data is now COPERT compatible, and going even beyond the limits of the well-known software tool by integrating new vehicle categories.
SIBYL is no longer available as a stand alone software tool, however the database previously integrated in the model is now offered as a complete and comprehensive road transport activity and emissions

A major update has been performed in COPERT data, taking into account all recent statistical information available.
Main updates compared to previous versions:
- Full time series 1990-2018,
- New categories added (electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids).
Main features of the updated dataset:
- Compatibility with latest official national statistical data,
- Consistency of fuel consumption with national submissions in UNFCCC on a per vehicle category

The purpose of this feature is to allow multiple automatic executions of COPERT, by externally providing input data and subsequently receiving results in an external file. Moreover, third party applications (like Matlab or custom software) will be able to execute COPERT via the Command Line Interface to perform automated tasks. (more…)
